Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of instant communication over the Internet. It is mainly designed for group (one-to-many) communication in discussion forums called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication.

To connect to an IRC network, you have to use a client. A small sample:
Clonk channels
All clonk channels are in the euIRC (irc.euirc.net, Port 6667). The only one in english is #clonk-int, but in the others (#clonk, #clonkscript (About C4Script) and #clonken (Internet gaming)) there are often German Clonker who can write english, too.
