What is a tree-structure?
In a forum where a tree-structure is used, you can reply the post you would like to comment or from which you want to quote. Don't reply simply the last post. With the tree-structure it is easy to find out what is a post about. This way a post can have multiple replies. See also: Tree-Structure
What is a troll?
A troll is someone who 'argues' for an extreme low level. A better definition can be found in the English Wikipedia
Why is everyone so unfriendly?
In a forum it is common that newbies are warned of their mistakes in their posts. This is not absolutely unfriendly - it should picked up as an advice.
Why does nobody write polite forms like Regards, John Smith in a post?
Actually, this is considered as place waste, because the name of the poster will be automatically shown by the forum software. A friendly content is more important than polite 'framing'.
How can I quote?
Copy & Paste the text you want to quote into your post, then put a '>' in front of the quote:
> How old are you? I am 15 years old.
